What is Goated – My Experience Gambling There

Right off the bat, I’ll say that if you’re like me and have or are currently playing on Stake and are looking for a new site, Goated should be on top of your list.

I’ve wagered over 5 million on Stake before I decided to call it quit.

Stake just doesn’t feel as fun anymore and bonuses seem to be getting smaller every week.

I spent a few weeks researching a new casino

Once I got really fed up with Stake, I starting looking for a new place to punt all my money:

• Casino has to be legit

A few points I love about Goated when comparing it to Stake and Shuffle:

• Their website (even the mobile version) feels better than Stake’s. It’s smoother, less lags.
• They have instant withdrawals, no BS “an admin needs to approve it” like on Shuffle.
• Their Originals feel better than Shuffle, except their Plinko game which is atrocious.
• No random monthly bonus (when monthly?) like on Stake. On your VIP page you see all your bonuses and countdowns to when you’ll be able to redeem them.

How my first deposit and withdrawal went

I initially deposited 300$ on Goated, just to test out the site and see how withdrawing my money would go.

Got lucky, made some money and withdrew 400$ right away.

Withdrawal was almost instant as well. Took a few seconds for the transaction to be created on the blockchain and a couple minutes to receive it in my Shakepay wallet.

It honestly feels really great that the withdrawal process is automated and instant.

What I think about the games available

First, a little downside to Goated is that they don’t offer sportsbetting.

I don’t usually place sports bets so for my that’s not really a big deal, but I think it’s worth mentioning for some of you folks out there.

Other than that, lately I’m more of an Originals kind of guy so that part was important for me.

Goated has pretty much all the classic Originals other casinos have.

Some of them have a little twist like the Goat Run, G3 Tower and G3 Cards.

Plinko on this site is horrible. If you’re used to Stake’s Plinko you won’t want to touch this one ever.

Their other Originals are great. Keno feels great, blackjack is good.

What kind of bonuses I got

I was hesitant to take on their VIP Status Match offer.

It looks attractive on paper, but from my experience with Winna, you’re actually missing out on a lot of bonuses if you’re not planning on wagering the minimum they ask you.

So I decided to just climb the ranks myself. I went from copper to Silver 5 in a day.

What I like about their VIP bonuses:

• Instant rakeback, you can claim it whenever you want
• Daily reloads depending on your rank. For Silver it’s like 0.6$ so pretty much useless. Hopefully it scales fast.
• The daily, weekly and monthly bonuses are all accessible from your VIP page, with a countdown so you know exactly when to claim them.
• You get instant cash when ranking up

Overall I think their VIP system is alright. It really feels like they just took Stake’s VIP system and improved it.

To give you an idea, I wagered 55k, lost 600$ and got 100$ as my weekly.

What I think about their native token airdrop

I didn’t participate in Shuffle’s airdrop and I really feel like I missed out.

Some people made tens of thousands of dollars on that just by gambling on Shuffle.

From what I’ve heard, Goated’s airdrop should be similar.

So for me it’s a no-brainer. I’m going to be gambling anyway, so why not do it on Goated where I’ll get an extra bag for free when they release their token.

My Overall Take on Goated

I’ve only wagered a little bit under 100k on there. But my experience so far is great.

Even with the perks I have on Stake (VIP host, daily reloads all year long, random bonuses from my host, etc.) I’m not looking back.

Goated Licensing & Regulation

Goated is licensed and regulated by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros and operated under Licence No. ALSI-202411063-FI2.

If you’re wondering, that license is very similar to the Curaçao one other big names use. Anjouan/Comoros is newer, it offers similar legal cover.

But it just doesn’t yet have the same track record or dispute resolution than Curaçao.

This is pretty much all standard in the industry, at least for legit casinos:

• Cold storage custody: The vast majority of player funds are held in offline “cold” wallets to protect against hackers. We’ve seen the crazy 50M heist on Stake, good thing they also had most of their shit in cold wallets. Only a small hot wallet is used to cover daily withdrawal volumes.

Fairness

Goated’s in-house games are built on a provably fair RNG architecture, meaning you can independently verify every outcome:

• Server Seed (hashed before play)
• Client Seed (generated by your browser)
• Cryptographic Nonce

Those three values combine in what they call a cryptographic algorithm to produce each result. After the round you can un-hash the server seed and confirm no tampering occurred

VIP Status match

Goated is one of the few online casinos that offer a VIP status match or transfer bonus.

This simply means that if you’ve been playing on another site like Stake or Shuffle, you’re eligible to match that status on Goated.

In my opinion, it’s only worth it if you’re planning on gambling a lot on the site.

I did that Status match on Winna, and they gave me an 18000$ bonus I could only unlock if I wagered 2M+.

Goated Native Token Airdrop

Goated will lunch their native token GOATED once 1B points have been distributed to their users.

At the time of writing this, we’re about half way there.

They will then airdrop 10% of these tokens to users who’ve gambled on their site.

You earn your share of that airdrop every time you place a bet on Goated.

No minimum wager required.

If Shuffle is any indication of how profitable that aidrop could be, regular degens could be banking thousands of dollars from that airdrop.

Goated NFTs

I’m really not that into NFTs, but if that’s your jam, Goated could also be dropping their NFT in the future.

They had plans to do a NFT drop but those plans were shelved back in mid-2024.

Goated has postponed that NFT drop “until further notice”.

I haven’t had any big issues with Goated as of yet so I can’t really pronounce myself on that point.
